Licensing FAQ
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN AN ASSURED ARTWORK LICENSE?
Every license includes a high-resolution digital file (300 DPI minimum, suitable for large-format print up to 60 inches on the long edge), the right to reproduce the image for the use case described in your license tier, and ongoing email support for questions about usage. Files are delivered via secure download link within 24 hours of payment.
WHAT LICENSE TIERS DO YOU OFFER?
We offer three tiers designed around how the artwork will be used. Standard is for a single project or location. Extended is for multi-location or multi-channel use within one organization. Exclusive removes the artwork from our catalog so no one else can license it. Pricing for each tier varies by piece — request a quote and we'll send tier-specific pricing for the work you have in mind.
HOW DO I REQUEST A QUOTE?
Use the Quote Request form on the Contact page or email us directly at hello@assuredartwork.com. Include the artwork title (or a screenshot), the intended use (corporate office, hotel guestrooms, branded merch, etc.), and how many locations or units the artwork will appear in. We respond to every quote request within one business day.
CAN I SEE THE ARTWORK AT HIGHER RESOLUTION BEFORE I COMMIT?
Yes. Once we receive your quote request, we can share a watermarked high-resolution proof so you can confirm the piece works for your application before payment.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STANDARD AND EXTENDED?
Standard covers one specific project at one location — for example, a single hotel property, one corporate office floor, or one product line. Extended covers multiple locations or channels under one organization — for example, a hotel group's full portfolio, or an enterprise rolling the artwork into multiple regional offices.
WHAT DOES EXCLUSIVE MEAN?
When you license a piece Exclusive, we remove it from our public catalog and do not license it to any other buyer. The artwork becomes exclusive to your use for the duration of your license. This is the right fit when the artwork will be central to a brand identity, a feature installation, or any use where you need confidence no one else will have access to it.
HOW LONG DOES A LICENSE LAST?
Standard and Extended licenses are perpetual for the specified use case — once licensed, you can continue using the artwork within the agreed scope indefinitely. Exclusive licenses run for a defined exclusivity term (typically 3–5 years), after which the artwork may return to the catalog by mutual agreement.
CAN I MODIFY THE ARTWORK?
Minor adjustments for fit (cropping, color matching to your space, scale) are permitted under all tiers. Material changes to the composition require written approval — email us and we'll review.
WHAT FORMATS DO YOU DELIVER?
High-resolution JPEG and TIFF as standard. PNG with transparency, layered PSD, or print-ready PDF available on request at no additional cost.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Credit card, ACH bank transfer, and wire transfer for international clients. For licenses at the Extended tier and above, we can issue an invoice with NET 30 terms for established design firms and corporate buyers.
DO YOU OFFER VOLUME OR PORTFOLIO DISCOUNTS?
Yes. If you're licensing more than three pieces in one project, ask about portfolio pricing in your quote request. We work with design firms and hospitality groups on ongoing licensing arrangements.
WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT?
Assured Artwork retains the underlying copyright on every piece. Your license grants you the specific use rights described in your tier. Exclusive licenses include a contractual exclusivity guarantee but do not transfer copyright.
